The unique office and practice center "Hamburger Welle" in the heart of Hohenfelde not only impresses with its wave-shaped architecture, but also with a pleasant working atmosphere. In this project, sound absorbers were used for the ceiling to optimise the room acoustics and create an optimal working environment.
The building
The “Hamburger Welle” office and practice center in the Hohenfelde district impresses with its unique, wave-like building shape. The building, located on the corner of Lübecker Straße, is divided into three parts, with two wings leading to a circular center with an open courtyard.
The curved design of the "Hamburer Welle" in combination with the floor-to-ceiling windows floods the interior with natural light and creates a pleasant working atmosphere. The open floor plans offer versatile design options for individual offices, meeting rooms and team workstations. The redesign not only focused on individual adaptation, but also on integrating the tenant's corporate design. In addition, special attention was paid to acoustically effective solutions in order to optimise the background noise in the rooms. In addition, custom-made lights from Lindner were used, which are not only functional, but also contribute to the visual design.
Sound absorbers: The solution for optimised room acoustics
To further improve the room acoustics, sound absorbers were used in the open areas and meeting rooms. Our MUTE+® sound absorbers in round and square versions proved to be the perfect choice. In particular, the MUTE+® board ceiling absorbers in classic white were chosen to ensure seamless integration into the room concept. These sound absorbers not only offer effective sound reduction, but also help to create a pleasant working atmosphere.
The sound absorbers have been strategically placed on the ceilings to minimise unwanted sound reflections and reduce reverberation in the room. This helps to dampen disturbing noises and promote concentration and communication in the office.
Synergy of acoustics and lighting
Particularly noteworthy is the combination of the sound absorbers with the integrated Lindner Loop lights. This synergy of acoustics, aesthetics and lighting not only creates a pleasant sound environment, but also improves the visual appearance of the office space. The sound absorbers blend harmoniously into the room design and form a stylish addition to the modern office furnishings.
The "Hamburger Welle" project impressively shows how the targeted integration of sound absorbers into the room design can significantly optimise the working environment. By effectively reducing noise and creating a pleasant sound atmosphere, sound absorbers make a significant contribution to increasing the well-being and productivity of employees.
Conclusion: Effective acoustics for optimal working conditions
The "Hamburger Welle" not only stands for innovative architecture, but also for the successful combination of aesthetics and functionality. The use of sound absorbers on the ceilings of the open areas and meeting rooms underlines the importance of good room acoustics in the office. Thanks to this targeted measure, disturbing noises were minimised and a productive working environment was created. This project illustrates how sound absorbers can help to sustainably improve the quality of work and well-being in modern office environments.
