MUTE+® ceiling absorber

Acoustic canopy ceilings, also called ceiling absorbers, are special sound absorbers that are mounted on the ceiling. They are used to insulate the sound and absorb disturbing noises in the room. Acoustic canopy ceilings can be attached directly to the ceiling or hang freely parallel to the ceiling using wire ropes.

Simply by installing a canopy ceiling, almost any surface in the room can be acoustically optimised. Acoustic canopies leave a beautiful and elegant impression, as the fabric is available in a variety of colours so that the colour can be adapted to your surroundings. Our ceiling canpies are available in different sizes to suit your room.

We offer you the choice of 4 different versions.

Ceiling absorbers improve room acoustics

Noise and loud background noises are perceived by employees as major distractions and disturbances. Concentration and memory continue to decline, and work or life becomes more and more difficult.

Another disadvantage of the lack of sound insulation is health concerns, ranging from headaches and earaches to high blood pressure and tachycardia.

Acoustic ceilings have been proven to help noticeably improve room acoustics. This is done by reducing the reverberation time or the range of the sound.

The use of ceiling canopies as sound absorbers is particularly useful if you have very little floor space and want to keep the walls free. The sound insulation provided by ceiling canopies is also particularly effective if your room is high up. In addition, an attractive colour of the absorber or ceiling can have a positive effect on the character of the room.
