With the aim of putting people at the centre and creating a future-oriented healthcare infrastructure, a new eight-storey cantonal hospital was built in Baden based on the concept of "healing architecture". Infrastructural and work processes were harmoniously integrated into the building to create the best possible atmosphere for patients, visitors and staff. A well thought-out interplay of light, colours, materials, acoustics and intuitive wayfinding contributes significantly to mental well-being and makes the "hospital of the future" a pioneer in modern hospital construction.

What began with a single trade in the area of wall glazing developed into a comprehensive complete fit-out thanks to the expertise and convincing advice of the Swiss branch of Lindner SE.
Natural daylight and a calm, friendly atmosphere play an essential role in a modern hospital, which is why the sound-insulated glass partitions Lindner Life Freeze 137 and Lindner Life Stereo 125 were used. Natural materials such as wooden elements with a lamellar structure in the lecture theatres and solid wooden lamellas in the corridors also create a pleasant ambience. Doors in various designs - from wooden and glass doors to automatic sliding doors - combine functionality with aesthetics and make everyday life easier for patients, staff and visitors.

The demand for the highest quality was also evident in the ceilings: EI 60/EI 30 fire protection ceilings in the corridors ensure safety, while suspended MUTE+® skin sound absorbers guarantee pleasant room acoustics. The highlight in the truest sense of the word are the customised special LED luminaires, which integrate seamlessly into the various corridor metal ceilings and ensure an optimal lighting atmosphere. Customised furniture for check-in and check-out areas as well as coffee bars round off the modern design concept. In the technical rooms, Lindner raised floors provide the best conditions and sufficient space for various technical cables.
